📚 What is Forever Library?

Forever Library is an immutable NFT smart contract on Ethereum, designed to preserve digital culture through open, verifiable, and permanent minting. Whether you’re an artist, coder, musician, or collector, Forever Library offers a public record for on-chain creativity that is free of upgradeable logic or platform control.

🔑 Core Principles

• ✅ Immutable – Forever Library’s contract cannot be upgraded or changed after deployment.
• 🌐 Open Minting – Anyone can mint NFTs using the contract or the official front end.
• 🔐 Time-Locked Metadata – Token metadata can be updated for 24 hours after minting. After that, it becomes locked permanently.
• ♾️ Irys**-Based Storage** – The official minting flow uses Irys for permanent blockchain-based file storage.
• 🧾 Provenance Guaranteed – Onchain data includes timestamp, block number, minter address, and token URI.
• ⛓️ Onchain Metadata – Forever Library token URIs directly contain structured metadata which includes the title, description, artist name, creator wallet address, media type, creation date, and a link to the media file hosted via Irys.
